3-Phenyl-1-propanol is widely used in Flavors & essence oils, pharmaceutical ect.

It is mainly used to prepare nut flavors such as peach, apricot, plum, watermelon, plum, strawberry and walnut, and glutinous rice, also some other kinds of flavours and fragrances, and synthetic flavours and fragrances. As a medicine, it can be applied to Cholecystitis, cholangitis, cholelithiasis, biliary postoperative syndrome, hypercholesterolemia, etc.

Risk overview:

Hazardous characteristics: Flammable when meeting fire and high heat. Reacts with oxidants. In case of high heat, the internal pressure of the container increases, posing a risk of cracking and explosion.

Health hazard: Under normal production conditions, the possibility of acute poisoning caused by vapor inhalation is small.This product has a stimulating effect on human eyes, nose and throat when the concentration in the air reaches 40mg/m3.

First aid measures:
